How do I create a survey?
Choose a template or blank survey, add the basics, edit your questions, then review and publish.
Do I need an account within free limits?
No account required within free limits. Use your secret management link to manage the survey. Download and store it safely; we cannot verify ownership or recover it if lost.
Where is My surveys saved?
Surveys you publish, duplicate, or open with a secret management link are saved in this browser. Only management credentials and summaries are saved, not answers, and nothing syncs to other devices. Avoid saving access on shared computers. After clearing browser data, import a downloaded access file or complete management link to restore the entry. Always keep a separate backup.
How long is data retained?
A valid response or dashboard visit refreshes activity. Surveys and responses are deleted from the online database after 90 days without activity. Deleting a survey also removes its online data, but existing encrypted disaster-recovery copies do not disappear immediately. Their retention rules are explained below.
How long are disaster-recovery copies kept?
We make one encrypted backup daily and store copies on two application nodes, normally on a rolling 7-day basis. Backups may contain surveys and responses deleted after the snapshot. Older copies are removed only after a new backup is copied and verified. Failed jobs or downtime may keep older copies longer until backups resume. Daily backups are not real-time replication, so recent data may still be lost during a failure.
Can backups recover my survey?
No. These copies are for system disaster recovery only, not for recovering deleted or expired surveys or lost secret management links. Old backups are never automatically restored to the live service. Before restoring service, deletions since the snapshot must be reviewed and expiry cleanup rerun. A restored copy must not be opened to users if deletion status cannot be confirmed.
Can I prevent duplicate responses?
You can limit a survey to one response per browser. Clearing cookies or using another browser bypasses this, so it is not identity verification.
Is response data used for ads?
No. The site currently displays and loads no ads, and does not use responses, IP addresses, or device data for ad targeting.
What visit data is collected?
We count page categories, languages, source channels, and product events, not full URLs, response content, IP addresses, or device data. An anonymous session identifier is kept in the current tab; the next visit starts a new session after 30 minutes without navigation. Management pages are excluded. Visit tracking respects Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control. Raw metrics are kept for 90 days.
